Two HEIDENHAIN linear scales are installed on press brake which constantly monitors the ram position with micron level accuracy. These scales are mounted on a special bracket which are completely isolated from any deformation caused to the C-frame structure during the ram upstroke/down stroke and the load. In effect, it always gives the precise and actual position of the ram under any condition.Many other makers of press brakes install the scales directly on the C-frame which results in errors in the real position of the ram.
